Customization Page
The Customization page is where you configure Alcemi to match your store’s branding, language, and customer needs. From here, you can control the agent’s availability, adjust how it interacts with shoppers, and enrich it with store-specific knowledge.
Product Search Sync
Section titled “Product Search Sync”
From the Customization page, you can monitor and manage your catalog synchronization. Syncing your catalog is required before the app can be used.

Agent Language
Section titled “Agent Language”
Choose the default language your shopping agent will use when interacting with customers and static texts.
- Auto – Matches your store’s language settings automatically. If your store supports multiple languages, Alcemi will switch between English and Lithuanian based on the customer’s selected locale.
- English – Forces the assistant to communicate in English, regardless of the store or customer language.
- Lithuanian – Forces the assistant to communicate in Lithuanian.
After the initial greeting, Alcemi adapts dynamically to the language your customer uses in conversation.
Interaction Modes

Choose how customers can engage with Alcemi:
- Text → Text (chat only)
- Voice → Text (customers speak, Alcemi responds in text)
- Voice → Voice (fully conversational)
Note: For now, only text-to-text mode is available. We are working to offer other modes in the near future.
Themes & Appearance
Section titled “Themes & Appearance”
Customize Alcemi’s look and feel to match your brand:
- Available themes: Alcemi Blue, Neutral Dark, Neutral Light, Light Pink, Beige.
- Preview themes on both desktop and mobile before publishing.
- Adjust the theme at any time to align with seasonal campaigns or rebranding.
Store Context & Personality
Section titled “Store Context & Personality”
Store Context: Provide a short description of your store — include your niche, target audience, product range, and brand values. This information helps the AI generate more relevant product suggestions and on-brand responses.
Example: “We’re an eco-friendly skincare brand for Gen Z. We specialize in vegan, cruelty-free products with natural ingredients. Our bestsellers are facial serums and moisturizers. We focus on sustainability and transparency in everything we do.”

Agent Personality: Define how Alcemi communicates with your customers. Use this field to describe the tone, style, and character traits you want your agent to express.
Example: “Friendly and knowledgeable, like a helpful skincare expert. Enthusiastic about sustainability. Uses simple language and avoids jargon. Empathetic and patient when assisting customers.”
